I don't know where I'm going, but I know where I've been...

1 month.

In one month, so much can change and boy, has it. I've done some really fun things, like going to the San Diego Zoo (EVERYONE should make the journey at some point).

It was incredible. Q, Brittney and I went a couple weekends ago. We got up and left at 8 am, got there around 10am and didn't get back home until almost 11pm.

It was a full day of animal sight seeing and roomie bonding time. I took lots of pictures of the panda (my fav) and the spooning tigers -- they were beautiful.

I went to the Michael Jackson memorial service and sat in the Fox News box. It was so incredible to be in a room with thousands of people there to celebrate the same person and to be in the presence of people like Mariah, Stevie, Lionel and J Hudson. I can't believe that one man could touch someone people's lives. I don't know what it looked like on tv -- maybe a little hokey-- but inside, you could tell everyone was really there to pay their respects.

As far as going out goes, we've done some low key things. The most exciting place we went to was the 21st bday party for that guy that sings "birthday sex." Not a huge fan of the song, but the party was cool. Some dance crew performed from ABDC and two girls who sang some wierd song called "boys w/ tatoos." I don't know -- google it if you care.

I almost forgot: we were on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson when Gerard Butler was there (his segment was pre-recorded so we didn't see him, lame) but we DID see Liza Minnelli! She's awesome. The back of me and Amanda's heads were on tv so we're minor celebs now. We also went on the set of ABC Family's GREEK. I tried to act cool but then we walked around the "dobler's set and I turned into your typical tourist.

This post has been kind of all over the place, and I feel like I have been too. "I don't know where I'm going, but I know where I've been" is pretty much the best way for me to describe how I feel. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do, where I'm supposed to be or how I'll get there but I guess all you can do is take it moment to moment.

Until next time, au revoir.

p.s. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD! love and miss you sooo much :)
